Déchelette Architecture worked with Sarah Valente to design Casa Franca in Paris, France.

In the 18th arrondissement of Paris, committed artist and founder of the Greenline Foundation, Sarah Valente, wanted to create a hybrid dwelling.

Valente intended for Casa Franca to be a place of artistic experimentation, as well as a meeting place, exhibition space and residence – all respectful of the ecological issues of our time.

With this in mind, brother and sister architects Philibert and Emmanuelle Déchelette of Déchelette Architecture were able to bring Valente's vision to life in an ambitious yet responsible adobe home – the first of its kind in Paris.

This project has been longlisted in the house (urban) category of Dezeen Awards 2024.
