Bi Yuu has designed Contemplari, a series of woven tapestries and rugs.

Contemplari by Bi Yuu is a collection that captures the symbiotic relationship between humans and nature through finely woven tapestries and a rug.

Crafted from natural wool and metallic fibres and dyed with the essence of avocado residues, this collection reflects the beauty of nature and invites humans to contemplate its changing colours and narratives in the face of climate change.

"We celebrate the emotional and environmental connections that colour our world through this," said Bi Yuu.

This project has been longlisted in the textile design category of Dezeen Awards 2024.
