Offhand Practice has redesigned and repurposed the interiors of the Deja Vu Recycling Store in Beijing, China.
Deja Vu's new Beijing store is a treasure hunter's paradise, designed to reflect the city's vibe by blending raw, industrial chic with modern features.
The layout offers a free-moving circulation, with a central atrium bathed in natural light, encouraging exploration with warm rust-exposed I-beams, skylights and digital displays on recycled shelves.
This unique blend of industrial charm, modern technology, and recycled elements creates a marketplace-atmosphere shopping experience, perfectly capturing Deja Vu's spirit and the essence of Beijing.
This project has been longlisted in the retail interior (large) category of Dezeen Awards 2024.
