Japanese designer Yoko Kloeden revitalised a 1960s home in West London for a professional couple from Hong Kong, infusing it with Japanese architectural elements.

Located in a conservation area on an estate designed by a single architect, the house features simple, cubic geometry, clean lines, expansive windows and functional detailing, reflecting mid-century modern principles.

The clients, enthusiasts of Japanese culture, envisioned a minimalistic yet functional family home.

The transformation includes thoughtful integration of Japanese design, creating a serene and sustainable living space.

This project has been longlisted in the residential interior category of Dezeen Awards 2024.
