Foster + Partners has designed the FSB 1292 Range, a series of mixed metal handles.

Foster + Partners teamed up with German manufacturer FSB to create a collection of aluminium, stainless steel and bronze handles.

The FSB 1292 product line, featuring a freehand curve design, reflects mutual consistency, quality and sustainability principles.

Each handle iteration is viewed as a unique design and ergonomic challenge.

The collection also meets high standards of fire safety, hygiene and accessibility.

Durability is key, promising longevity and sustainability, with the aluminium finish requiring fewer processing stages.

This project has been longlisted in the product design (consumer design and wearables) category of Dezeen Awards 2024.
