Policronica has transformed and redesigned the interiors of Hotel Elysee Montmartre in Paris, France.
This project is the rehabilitation and transformation of an old building into a 15-room hotel.
The aim was to use 90% of the trunk material in all the pieces produced, following a logic of valorising low-value-added materials.
The overall concept for the hotel was to rethink the design of the production chain within an architectural project.
"All elements [were] manufactured in our workshop," said Policronica. "Everything is made from eucalyptus wood, an invasive wood that we are requalifying."
This project has been longlisted in the hotel and short-stay interior category of Dezeen Awards 2024.
