Atelier Paul Vaugoyeau has designed the Hydro 100R exhibition in Milan, Italy.

Presented during Milan Design Week, the installation is a pioneering mono-material exhibition celebrating Hydro Circal 100R, the world's first industrial-scale recycled aluminium made entirely from post-consumer scrap.

The installation is conceived to showcase the material and the highly industrial process of aluminium extrusion.

It features three main elements that subtly guide the visitor through the journey from raw material to semi-finished elements and finally to the finished production pieces.

Every part of the exhibition, including custom hardware and details, is crafted from aluminium, emphasising the mono-material concept.

Commissioned by leading Norwegian aluminium and renewable energy company Hydro in collaboration with art director Lars Beller Fjetland, this exhibition highlights the clinical beauty and endless possibilities of this innovative material.

This project has been longlisted in the exhibition design (interior) category of Dezeen Awards 2024.
