KYT has designed KYT Bags, a collection of diabetes-equipment bags.

Diabetes is one of the world's most prevalent chronic conditions, affecting 400+ million globally.

With diagnosis comes equipment and decision overload, Stanford University Research estimates that people managing diabetes make an extra 180 decisions every single day to keep themselves safe.

Standing for 'Keeping You Together', KYT redesigns and redefines the daily diabetes experience.

"Crafted with insights from hundreds of diabetics around the world, KYT repackages bulky medical equipment into fashion-stacked, feature-packed bags and cases that keep treatment breezy and minds easy," said KYT.

All bags are ethically crafted from responsibly sourced materials and a donation from each bag supports diabetes charities.

This project has been longlisted in the product design (health and wellbeing) category of Dezeen Awards 2024.
