Level has designed Nex Playground, a family game system for Nex.

As a design studio led by mothers, Level created Nex Playground, an active game system designed for families, which reignites the joy of playing games together.

Using AI and computer vision to track your body's movement, players are effortlessly immersed in fun, creative experiences that get the family exerting themselves, complete with "hearts pounding and riots of laughter." said Level.

"Our experience as parents, perspective on privacy and eye for home aesthetics informed the design," added Level.

Influenced by game nostalgia, Level imagined a form imbued with character, joy-infused details and colours that speak to movement.

This project has been longlisted in the product design (consumer design and wearables) category of Dezeen Awards 2024.
