CoBe Architecture et Paysage, among many other collaborators, have designed and developed Paris Athletes Village Lot E2B in Paris, France.
As the sector's coordinator architect, CoBe has pre-written the main guidelines for the design of various buildings while leaving some leeway for each architect.
"Sector E of the Athletes Village is, first and foremost, a family resemblance and is the most domestic part," said CoBe.
Sector E is made up of eight lots designed by seven architects – where three buildings designed by CoBe are located on the eastern edge of the sector, at the crossroads of three major public spaces.
"They will [house] 168 rooms for athletes during the Games and will be transformed into 98 housing units [afterwards]," added CoBe.
This project has been longlisted in the housing category of Dezeen Awards 2024.
