El Departamento designed PJ Lobster's new optical boutique in Barcelona's Born district, reflecting the brand's evolution and expansion.

This space captures the brand's maturity, balancing e-commerce and physical channels.

Inspired by the documentary Powers of Ten, the design plays with scale, offering texturised minimalism and raw high-tech elements.

The boutique features a central, bright display, contrasting with a waiting area adorned in green vegan leather.

The raw materiality of stucco complements stainless steel displays and micro cement floors, creating a memorable, personalised space that blends various atmospheres.

This innovative design marks the beginning of PJ Lobster's new generation of stores.

This project has been longlisted in the retail interior (small) category of Dezeen Awards 2024.
