Camira has designed Revolution, a range of fabrics made from waste wool.

Revolution was realised following Camira's investment in a textile recycling capability, iinouiio, which specialises in bringing Yorkshire's 'outdated' manufacturing from the 1800s into mainstream manufacturing to combat the issue of global textile waste.

Revolution extends the lifespan of a precious natural resource, enabling wool to be used all over again on furniture in the commercial interior industry.

Revolution is a powerful illustration of how lessons from the past can be used to innovate in the present and for the future.

This project has been longlisted in the textile design category of Dezeen Awards 2024.
