AOC has designed the School Green Centre in Berkshire, United Kingdom.

This project is a new cultural centre and library for a rapidly developing village in Berkshire, defining a civic focal point around the historic school green.

A community building for the 21st century, the School Green Centre is a well-being hub, public library, creche, after-school club and venue all rolled into one.

The centre provides two connected performance halls, a destination café, a lending library, a children's centre and a collection of different-sized meeting rooms and offices for Shinfield Parish Council.

This project has been longlisted in the civic project category of Dezeen Awards 2024.
