Sunday Lighting has developed the Sunday Light, a sunshine-emulating light.

The Sunday Light is a sunshine machine, creating the effect of being under a clear blue sky on a sunny day.

At the heart of the luminaire is an LED that produces over 30,000 lumens, cooled by water flowing throughout the structure.

"Spending just 30 minutes under the Sunday Light provides your recommended daily light intake," said Sunday Lighting.

"It offers all the health benefits of a traditional Seasonal Affective Disorder lamp with all the enjoyment of basking in sunlight."

This project has been longlisted in the lighting design category of Dezeen Awards 2024.
