MycoWorks has designed The Reishi™ Book.

MycoWorks, a pioneer in mycelium research founded by artists, dreamt up The Reishi™ Book as a sample book that evolved into an artistic celebration of its namesake biomaterial.

The original brief for The Reishi™ Book was to devise a creative way to share samples with clients.

"From there, it took on a life of its own and [we] kept thinking bigger and bigger," said MycoWorks.

"How can we also tell our story? How can we show what you can create with Reishi? How can we also showcase the work of the Creative Studio?"

The solution was to create a book containing many books, each highlighting all the things Reishi is about.

This project has been longlisted in the graphic design category of Dezeen Awards 2024.
