Concentrico has developed the interiors of The Secret Donut Society in Mexico City, Mexico.

The Secret Donut Society has opened a new donut shop in Mexico City and Concentrico designed its interior.

"Following their traditional secret retail approach, where customers never interact with humans, we created a multi-sensory experience focused on self-reflection," said Concentrico.

From the street, the store resembles a fish tank where the customers become an attraction as they explore the shop and order from touch screens.

"The store transports you to a naturally created ecosystem within a scientific lab ambience," added Concentrico.

To emphasise the contrast between the natural and technological worlds, Concentrico opted to use materials such as stainless steel, mirrors, concrete tiles and overexposed lighting.

This project has been longlisted in the retail interior (small) category of Dezeen Awards 2024.
