Moreau Kusunoki has designed and built the Timber Tower Le Berlier in Paris, France.
The design of the 50-metre-high Timber Tower Le Berlier began from a deep understanding of the given site and its designation as a new residential centre at the southeastern end of Paris.
One of the key objectives of the ZAC Bruneseau, a designated area of intense and controlled urban redevelopment, was to establish a meaningful relationship and dialogue with the future neighbouring buildings.
At the intersection of multiple flows, networks and scales, this project balances between the monumental and the domestic.
Therefore, the notion of cohesion is a special point of attention for the entire
neighbourhood.
This project has been longlisted in the housing category of Dezeen Awards 2024.
