Keiji Ashizawa Design and Norm Architects have designed the Trunk Hotel Yoyogi Park in Tokyo, Japan.
The Trunk Hotel Yoyogi Park is a calm retreat seamlessly woven into the vibrant tapestry of Tokyo.
"The concept of the hotel is urban recharge," said Keiji Ashizawa Design.
"To realise this...we designed an infinity pool that frames a beautiful view of Yoyogi Park, along with a pool bar, an Italian restaurant open to the city and [25] compact but relaxing guest rooms, including five suites."
Amid the juxtaposition of modernity and tradition, the celebration of leisure and festivity and the embrace of both the local community and cherished visitors, guests will discover the perfect blend of urban sophistication and natural beauty at the hotel.
This project has been longlisted in the hotel and short-stay interior category of Dezeen Awards 2024.
