Kirkby Design has designed Aloe, a wide-width sustainable sheer fabric.

Aloe is a groundbreaking, washable, wide-width drapery textile comprising 60% Aloe vera and 40% organic cotton.

This innovative fabric marks the first use of Aloe vera in interior textiles.

Aloe vera is a more sustainable choice than conventional materials, as it grows without the need for chemicals, fertilisers, or additional watering.

The Aloe sheer fabric allows light to filter through beautifully, creating minimal blocks of colour.

Its calming neutral palette is complemented by trendy shades like Acid Yellow, Cobalt Blue and Clove, adding a contemporary touch to any space.

This project has been shortlisted in the textile design category of Dezeen Awards 2024.
