Comité de Proyectos has designed the interiors of the Ennea Hotel in Oaxaca, Mexico.
The Ennea Hotel is a quaint nine-room hotel in Punta de Zicatela, Oaxaca, featuring a restaurant, pool, lounge and small spa, within 988 square metres bordering a nature reserve.
Embracing a circular economy ethos, this project highlights collaboration with local artisans and Oaxacan heritage.
Working with architect Jaque Studio, Comiteé de Proyectos contributed to wall finishes, bespoke carpentry, furniture, lighting, rugs and more.
"Collaborating with Chef Rodolfo Castellanos, we curated elements for [the] Enna restaurant," said Comité de Proyectos.
"With 95% of materials and furnishings sourced locally, we proudly support Mexican craftsmanship, showcasing pottery from Atzompa, reed artisans from San Bartolo Coyotepec and use of local woods and labour."
This project has been shortlisted in the hotel and short-stay interior category of Dezeen Awards 2024.
