Shortlisted for Dezeen Awards 2024 designer of the year, Neil Poulton is a Scottish designer based in Paris.
Poulton is an industrial designer known for his simple mass-produced products.
In a career spanning more than 30 years, Poulton is known for his enduring collaborations with major brands including Italian lighting company Artemide and tech leader LaCie, for whom he designed the iconic orange rubber hard drive, a product which has sold over 6 million units.
He has received multiple international design awards, been listed in Time magazine's the design 100 and many of his products are part of prestigious collections, including the permanent collection at Centre Pompidou, Paris.
A recent project of his is the Ray Speaker and Ray Clock for Lexon Design.
