Shortlisted for Dezeen Awards 2024 architect of the year, Florian Idenburg and Jing Liu form New-York based architecture practice SO-IL.

With projects completed in Leon, Seoul, Lisbon, as well as their hometown New York, SO-IL are informed by global
narratives and perspectives.

They explore how the creation of environments and objects can inspire lasting positive intellectual and societal engagement.

SO-IL have recently finished the exteriors of a residential building in Brooklyn with a wavy, perforated-metal facade and have released plans to convert Detroit warehouses into multi-purpose art spaces.

SO-IL has been shortlisted in the architect of the year category of Dezeen Awards 2024.
