Winner: Workplace interior (small) of the year. Firm Architects has designed the Land Over Water office interiors in Hoofddorp, Netherlands.

The 675-square-metre flagship office, located in Hoofddorp, combines sustainability with aesthetics.

The goal for the office was to become an inspiration hub for all employees and partners; a place ready for the future.

"Making the Netherlands more beautiful is the mission of APPM," said Firm Architects.

Based on this mission, Firm Architects explored what this vision means for APPM: innovation and improvement.

The result is an original office inspired by a rich Dutch landscape.

Judges comments: “The sustainability credentials are impressive, as is the link to materials in the Dutch landscape. There is a consistency in the core foundation material, the use of clay, which has been executed in different ways. The zoning concept is also very strong, which is important for a shared space like this.”
