Mary Duggan
Architect Mary Duggan is founder of London architecture and design studio Mary Duggan Architects.
She graduated from the Bartlett School of Architecture in 1997 with a distinction. Prior to starting her own studio in 2017 she was co-founder of Duggan Morris Architects, which won ten RIBA National and Regional Awards, three Civic Trust Awards, and three nominations for the Mies van der Rohe Award.
Mary has served on many design review panels for governing authorities including the London Borough of Lewisham Design Review Panel and the RIBA Education Committee.
She has been a judge for a number of awards including the RIBA International, National and Regional Awards, The Stephen Lawrence Prize, The Manser Medal, the RIBA House of the year, the RIBA Bronze Medal and the Architects Journal Building of the Year.
Mary is a member of the London Festival of Architecture Panel, the RIBA Awards Panel and International Awards Panel, and has written critiques and provided commentary for numerous architectural journals.
Mary is currently involved in visiting design critiques, design tutoring, RIBA Part 3 examinations and external examining at a number of Schools of Architecture including the Bartlett School of Architecture UCL, Oxford Brookes University and Brighton University.
She was nominated for Woman Architect of the Year in 2014.
