Petrus Palmer
Petrus Palmer is founder and CEO of Stockholm-based design brand Hem.
Palmer graduated from Linnaeus University with a degree in industrial design and the ambition to spark more innovation in the design industry. He was a founding member of Swedish design studio Form Us With Love, watch brand TID, and acoustic-panel brand BAUX.
Since it was founded in 2014, Hem, which is Swedish for “home”, has established a successful range of over 300 products that are available in 34 countries. Hem has collaborated with leading designers including GamFratesi, Philippe Malouin, Luca Nichetto and Max Lamb. In 2017, Hem showcased its expanded product line at its first US pop-up in New York.
Palmer is also chairman of the board of Design Sweden, an organisation set up to support, nurture and enable Swedish designers across the globe.
Hem was named in the top 500 most newsworthy forces in global architecture and design in the 2017 Dezeen Hot List.
