VCUarts Qatar's four-year BFA Graphic Design programme provides a forward-looking curriculum designed and led by a talented and committed faculty.

The department provides professional skills that help young creatives understand communication problems through critical thinking and creative problem solving.

The programme is committed to addressing the role of design in a multicultural and multilingual contemporary Arabic context and provides a creative learning environment for this purpose.

Graphic designers work with multiple mediums, including print, web, interactive design, video and various forms of three-dimensional experiential design to deliver precise and targeted communication.

Our graduates are skilled specialists in print, web and multimedia and can apply strategic thinking skills to a number of professional careers where visual communication is required.

Our students have been hired by, or have worked with local, regional and international organisations and companies such as Qatar Museums, Qatar Airways, Arab Engineering Bureau, Hamad Bin Khalifa University, Al Jazeera and Al Jazeera Kids, Blueprint, Doha Film Institute, Film House, Katara Hospitality, Qatari Diar, ASHGHAL, Qatar Foundation, FROMM, Msheireb Properties, Doha Design District and HOK which is one of the largest architecture firms in the US.
