Have you ever thought about the contemporary socio-urban issues of each specific city? Berlin is a fantastic city to explore all the multiple solutions in order to improve the well-being of people and delve deep into socio-urban matters. Let us build socio-urban solutions for Berlin's future altogether!
This summer, 2024, at Berlin International, we are going to take our knowledge beyond the BI Summer School 2024. During two exciting weeks, together with experts in the field, those interested in new models of research, environmental studies and designs to find possible solutions for socio-urban landscapes in Berlin (that can be similarly found elsewhere) will have the chance to explore multiple solutions and advance their knowledge.
According to the UN, "housing access is a fundamental human right" yet this idea is seemingly fleeting in any contemporary urban environment. Therefore, during the BI Summer School 2024 On Housing workshop, you will have the chance to explore the future of housing in Berlin. Additionally, through multiple analyses and diagnoses, you will understand the existing housing situation in Berlin as a tool to explore architectural proposals for the future of housing in the capital of Germany.
This opportunity is unique! Not only will you be able to explore one crucial socio-urban problem with experts, you will also be able to work with a multicultural group that will allow you to see different perspectives.
