ECAL's primary mission is to train top level artists, theoreticians and curators.
The Master Fine Arts at ECAL is intended for students with a Bachelor's degree who are passionate about the various aspects of this discipline.
This Master offers a unique opportunity to understand and experience the mechanisms of the contemporary art scene, to assimilate a wide range of knowledge and techniques and to grasp the new stakes of art today.
In particular, students are invited to discover various contexts of contemporary art across the world and study the related processes and people who gravitate around them.
The results of this research are presented in the form of an artwork, exhibition project or publication.
Taught on campus by internationally renowned figures, the students are involved in workshops, research work and exhibition development.
They also have the benefit of a travel programme and residencies abroad, as well as the ECAL multidisciplinary course lectures.
In order to advise potential candidates, online portfolio reviews will take place on 14 March. Register for this event here.
