On Infrastructure Masterclass at Theatrum Mundi
The On Infrastructure Masterclass course at Theatrum Mundi provides students with interactive sessions exploring the cultural infrastructures that make up towns and cities.
School: Theatrum Mundi
Course: On Infrastructure Masterclass
Location: London, UK
Course dates: 25 to 26 February 2023
Application deadline: 24 February 2023
This session will focus on the infrastructural conditions that underpin the cultural life of our towns and cities. The spaces where experimentation and production take place are often out of view of public life.
Over two days, you will take part in interactive and conversational activities exploring cultural infrastructures led by urbanist and researcher Cecily Chua, along with art collective Flat 70 founders Anthony and Senam Badu.
We will question what it means to be a cultural institution and expand the notion of who gets to be a cultural producer.
As part of the course, you will receive three publications that form part of our Cultural Infrastructure collection – It's always a work in progress, Infrastructuring, and Performing Projections.
Applications to this course have now closed.
