Sustainability and the Built Environment: Intensive for Architects is a self-paced course with 20 LU credits attached for members of the American Institute of Architects (AIA).
Taught by faculty within the New York School of Interior Design's Institute for Continuing and Professional Studies, this course will introduce you to many basic principles and concepts of sustainability as a context for design decision-making in the 21st century.
We will cover a lot of information that only scratches the surface of sustainability topics, in which you could keep delving deeper.
This course is a starting place for developing an understanding of why current and future makers of the built environment must think systemically.
