A drone that could fly to a patient suffering from a heart attack is one of a series of transport-related design projects by Dutch university TU Delft, which comes in at school number eight in our Hot List.

An aircraft featuring a hybrid engine and a continuous profile designed by a team of engineers and designers from the school joins a set of other projects that aim to improve aviation, while students combined the hot topics of robotic construction and 3D-printed design with the world's first 3D-printed steel bicycle.
