Berlin Design Week's multifaceted program includes exhibitions, talks, films and workshops, which are held over eleven days around the city. Designers, museums, cultural institutions, galleries, studios, project spaces and companies take part. In response to societal and ecological changes the event will focus on experimental projects and approaches that aim that link design disciplines with research, industry and business.
For the second year Berlin Design Week will also feature 'DESIGN POOL' the event's trade show where studios and designers will present their products. It will feature home and lifestyle accessories, furniture and lighting.

This year's event has been cancelled as a result of the coronavirus outbreak and will return in 2021.
