Hosted by the Ukrainian team of European Architecture Students Assembly (EASA) this event takes place at Slavutych a city used to rehouse workers from the Chernobyl nuclear power plant contamination zone.
During the 10 day event around 250 young architects will occupy an abandoned hospital in the city centre in the hopes of bringing the city back to life. Over 30 workshops, run by young professionals and architectural students, will tackle the issue of this post-atomic city.
SESAM 2020 Poliklinka has been postponed until next year due to coronavirus. It will take place from 26 May to 6 June 2021 in Slavutych, Ukraine.
