Focusing on futuristic design, the programme centres around San Francisco's ties to both contemporary designers and technology companies.
Each year the festival chooses a design studio to devise the festival's theme, visual identity and campaign. This year design studio Landscape has chosen the theme of ‘Intentional Distortions' which aims to address "familiarity, bias, and what we know of reality".
This year's edition of San Francisco Design Week will take place entirely online from 16 to 25 June 2020.
