This project by muf architecture/art sees a series of mature trees positioned across the Kings Cross area. The trees serve as both meeting points and landmarks as the crown of each tree points towards the next destination on a trail that takes visitors from King’s Cross station to Coal Drops Yard.
After the close of the London Design Festival the trees will bring shade to the playground at The Grove school for children with autism in Tottenham.
There will also be a life drawing class with landscape architect Jo Gibbons and Liza Fior, partner muf architecture/art on 19 September. All ticket sale proceeds will go towards the school's ongoing fundraising campaign. Visitors will also have the opportunity to take a sapling to plant at home.
On their way takes place from 12 to 20 September 2020 at Coal Drops Yard Stable St, Kings Cross, London N1C 4DQ.
