Adrian Sassoon and Modernity present a joint exhibition in Mayfair, opening during London's annual art and design week.

Stockholm-based Modernity Gallery directors Andrew Duncanson and Isaac Pineus have invited London-based art dealer Adrian Sassoon to co-curate an exhibition in their London showroom, which was established earlier in the year.

The absence of PAD and Frieze this year has prompted the two international dealers to present a curated display that stages their distinct signature collections side by side within the interior of a Palladian mansion on Cavendish Square.

Contemporary ceramics, glass and metalwork from Adrian Sassoon's stable of international artists are set in dialogue with Modernity's design classics from Nordic makers and designers.

Highlights include work by British ceramicist Kate Malone, contemporary artist Felicity Aylieff, Danish glassblower Tobias Møhl and Japanese artist Hitomi Hosono.
