The School of Architecture at Chile's Universidad Finis Terrae is hosting an online symposium that reflects on the architectural works of Aldo and Hannie van Eyck and Alison and Peter Smithson.

The event seeks to understand the differences between the theoretical and practical work of the couples and discuss their broad conceptual problems. Seven guest speakers will explore the architect's works, design strategies and their own personal experiences of the built projects in the hopes of shedding light on these questions.

The symposium will be hosted on the university's YouTube channel and will only be available in Spanish.

Between Van Eycks and Smithsons Symposium takes place online on 15 October 2020 at 2pm GMT.
