Punto de Inflexión is the first-ever architecture conference held in virtual reality and features speakers including Peter Cook and Carme Pinós.
The conference takes place in nine virtual rooms set out in a grid inspired by Barcelona's street plan designed by Architecture studio Space Popular.
Attendees select avatars in order to explore rooms containing architecture exhibitions and film screenings, as well as being able to attend talks taking place in a large amphitheatre.
Guests can also network with other attendees by chatting with them in chance encounters or arranging virtual meetings.
The event is the seventh biannual architecture festival funded by Spanish charitable foundation Fundación Arquia.
