The Unknown Mine Zone exhibition showcases artists, designers, architects and researchers that have created projects that explore potential alternatives to raw materials and food.

The exhibition programme consists of two artist-in-residence projects.

The first project is called Aireal, an online library that showcases materials that can capture atmospheric carbon by Dutch designer Teresa van Dongen.

The second is with artist collective Onkruidenier, whose Sweet-Sweat Travelogue project explores the ecological transformation provoked by climate change, salinisation and subsidence.

The Unknown Mine Zone takes place from 21 October 2020 to 3 September 2021 at Jan van Galenstraat 125, 1056 BL, Amsterdam, The Netherlands.
