The World Around architecture summit shares the most important new architectural projects of the past year with a focus on topics related to the environment, equity and the city.
The second edition of the event offers virtual and live tours of cities and cultural institutions on various continents and features both streamed and local in-person discussions in ten cities around the world.
Speakers for the 2021 event include architects, artists, filmmakers and researchers such as Deborah Berke, Alice Rawsthorn and David Adjaye, who will be giving a remote tour of his Winter Park Public Library complex, which is under construction in Florida. Participating institutions include ArkDes and the National Gallery of Victoria.
The event is curated by Beatrice Galilee and will be broadcast live on Dezeen.
