In this virtual talk, Space Caviar co-founder Joseph Grima and Dezeen's founder and editor-in-chief Marcus Fairs discuss Non-Extractive Architecture, an exhibition presenting research for a new type of architecture that does not exploit the planet.
Non-Extractive Architecture, which takes the form of a written manifesto and an exhibition by research studio Space Caviar, calls on architects to design buildings that do not deplete the earth's natural resources.
The manifesto was published by cultural foundation V–A–C and Steinberg Press last month, while an exhibition on the same topic is taking place at V–A–C's Venetian headquarters to coincide with the Venice Architecture Biennale.
The talk takes place online at 3:00 pm BST on 22 April 2021.
