This online panel discussion moderated by Dezeen's deputy editor Cajsa Carlson marks the launch of a new book published by Arvinius + Orfeus about Amos Rex Art Museum in Helsinki by JKMM Architects.
The panel consists of the founding director of London's Tate Modern Lars Nittve, writer and head of curatorial at London's Design Museum Priya Khanchandani, and Finnish artist Karoliina Hellberg.
The panel discuss themes from the new book, which is titled Amos Rex Art Museum – JKMM Architects.
The event aims to answer questions such as: What type of urban landmark should a museum be in the 21st century? How should museums connect with the residents of a city? Can they be a catalyst for a vibrant urban culture?
