ADI Design Museum presents an exhibition as a tribute to the entrepreneur Giulio Castelli, founder of plastic contemporary furniture company Kartell.

ADI Association for Industrial Design dedicates the exhibition to Castelli, who was the association's first president, on the centenary of his birth.

Giulio Castelli founded furniture company Kartell in 1949 when he introduced plastic materials to the furniture industry.

Tracing notable moments in the entrepreneur's life, Guilio Castelli: Entrepreneurial Culture in the Design System is curated by Federica Sala and looks at key stages of Castelli's career, including his central role in forming the Association itself.

Giulio Castelli: Entrepreneurial Culture in the Design System takes place at ADI Design Museum, Piazza Compasso d'Oro, 1, 20154, Milan, Italy, from 25 May 2021 to 25 November 2021.
