V&A Dundee is showing the first large-scale exhibition examining the relationship between club culture and design, which explores the evolution of nightclubs from the 1960s through to today.
The exhibition celebrates nightclubs and nightlife internationally, exploring venues such as New York's The Electric Circus, the Hacienda in Manchester, Beirut's B018 and the Ministry of Sound II in London.
It also features a section that focuses on Scotland's contribution to club culture in cities, such as Aberdeen, Dundee, Edinburgh, Glasgow and Paisley, to explore how Scotland's club scene has stronger ties to cities in the US and Europe than it does to London.
Night Fever: Designing Club Culture takes place from 1 May to 9 January 2022 at V&A Dundee, 1 Riverside Esplanade, Dundee DD1 4EZ, UK.
