The eighth edition of this Lisbon-based architecture film festival will centre around the theme of Bodies Out of Space.

It aims to reflect on the social construction of space as well as question the social, economical and administrative impact of colonialism and its role in architecture.

Arquiteturas Film Festival also includes a program of films, site-specific activities and masterclasses about the event's invited country for the 2021 festival, Angola.

The festival was originally due to to take place in 2020 but has been postponed due to coronavirus. Movies from previous editions will be released every Friday and will be available to watch for one week. The initiative will continue until the 2021 event begins in June.

Arquiteturas Film Festival 2021 takes place from 1 to 6 June 2021 in Lisbon, Portugal.
