The 27th World Congress of Architects hosts an online and in-person programme of talks, roundtable discussions, workshops, keynote presentations and exhibitions.

The event is organised into four thematic groups: Diversity and Mixture, Changes and Emergencies, Weaknesses and Inequalities and Transience and Flows.

Architects who are giving keynote speeches for this year's edition include Eduardo Souto de Moura, Elizabeth de Portzamparc and Francis Kéré.

World Congress of Architects 2021 takes place online and at various locations across Rio de Janeiro Brazil from the 18 to 22 July 2021.
