Tapestry studio Dovecot presents a major exhibition in Scotland on Nuno, one of Japan's most celebrated textile companies.

The show brings together five large-scale installations featuring Nuno textiles and other artwork, with contributions by Nuno's renowned design director Sudō Reiko.

Sudō is known for her commitment to championing sustainable manufacturing and her use of unconventional combinations of materials, such as hand-made washi (traditional Japanese paper) and nylontape.

Making Nuno: Visionary Japanese Textiles takes place from 17 September 2021 to 8 January 2022 at Dovecot Studios, 10 Infirmary Street, Edinburgh EH1 1LT, United Kingdom.
