Environmental design writer Katie Treggiden hosts this 12-week masterclass programme that aims to educate and inspire designers and makers to create products using waste.
The Waste: A Masterclass programme "has been designed to help designer-makers regain their sense of pride in what
they do, and to see the process of becoming more sustainable, not as a duty or obligation, but as an exciting creative opportunity," said Treggiden.
Five modules see Treggiden share insights into working with domestic, industrial, fashion, food and plastic waste, which she has learned over the course of her career.
Each module of the series is delivered over a fortnight, with pre-recorded interviews with guest speakers as well as a list of recommendations to help participants learn more about the topics. Special guests include Yinka Ilori, Jacqueline de la Fuente, and Ella Doran.
The deadline to sign up for the Masterclass is Monday 19 July 2021 at 11.59 pm BST.
Waste: A Masterclass takes place online at https://katietreggiden.com/masterclass/ across various days between 13 September to 6 December 2021.
