New York platform and nomadic gallery Superhouse presents a solo exhibition of ceramic pieces by artist Sean Gerstley for the opening of its new space in downtown Manhattan.

Entitled Sean Gerstley: Tile Block, the show explores how ceramic forms that aren't simply decorative objects or functional tableware can be incorporated into our living spaces.

Gerstley's work is influenced by the architecture of the gallery's new space called Superhouse Vitrine.

The exhibition includes highlights such as a surfboard-shaped coffee table and polychrome-glazed ceramic mirrors.

Sean Gerstley: Tile Block takes place at Superhouse Vitrine, 75 East Broadway, Second Floor, New York, NY 10002 from 8 October to 14 November 2021.
