A Section of Now is an architecture exhibition that explores the society we live in with a strong focus on family, work, technology, life expectations, property ownership and activism.
A Section of Now: Social Norms and Rituals as Sites for Architectural Intervention forms part of a year-long investigation that questioned: "How can architecture and urbanism better understand our contemporary conditions, and how might they adapt to better address the challenges these conditions present?"
The exhibition is showcased through contemporary photography, architectural research, designed objects and a TV series.
A Section of Now takes place from 13 November to 1 May 2022 at Canadian Centre for Architecture, 1920 Baile St, Montreal, Quebec H3H 2S6, Canada.
